The project seeks to assist and support each member of the community to ensure that they have a decent standard of living within a healthy environment and to ensure that they are enabled to avail of their rights in every aspect of communication and involvement with the people of the community. The organisation has an anti poverty ethos dedicated to empowering local people, particularly those most marginalized, to make and influence decisions.
Main areas of work for the project include: education, environment, community links, drug support, youth, the Travelling Community, art links and community games. The project is currently undertaking work with new initiatives in partnership with HSE agency workers. The project also received funding from ADM under the Equality for Women Measure to employ a Development worker to provide a "Welfare & Well-Being of Women" Project.
